Filming and taking photos inspire me. – In 1987 I got into film production, was involved in over 300 advertising, cinema & TV projects worldwide and thus gained my experience in production, directing and post-production. At BMW, I set up a new purchasing department for Film & Photography, and since 2009 I have been supporting customers as a cost consultant – from SMEs to DAX corporations – from four to seven-digit budgets.
Those who agree on suitable rules at an early stage save a lot of time, money and possibly trouble later in negotiations and production. The same applies to creativity: this unfolds best within clearly defined guard rails – “Necessity makes inventive” – not excess”.
Everyone should do what they do best: When I think of advertising agencies, I think of strategy, conception and content – my strengths lie in planning consistency, cost control and implementation as well as in many years of international experience.
